Nesting Envelopes for a Gift Card

I had fun this morning making different size envelopes that will nest together to contain a gift card.    There are 7 envelopes in all.   They were all made with my Envelope Punch Board by WE R MEMORIES.

The largest envelope would hold a 5.5 X 7 inch card.   It was cut from a 10 1/8 X 10 1/8 inch paper and the first score was at 4.5 inches.

The next envelope was cut from a piece of paper measuring 9 1/4 X 9 1/4 inches.   The first score was at 4 inches

The next envelope was made froma 8.5 inch square piece of paper.   The first score for this one was at 3 3/4 inches.

Then a piece of paper that was 7 7/8 inch square.   That score was at 3 3/8.

A 7 1/4 inch square piece of paper made the next envelope.   I made the first score and cut at 3 1/8 inch for this envelope.

The next envelope was made from a 6 X 6 inch piece of paper and scored at 2 5/8.

Finally the gift card was placed inside an envelope made from a 5 X 5 piece of cardstock and scored at 2 inches.

I hope the person who gets this gift card will have as much fun opening it as I did making the envelopes.

Snowman Telescoping Card

It is fun making cards that are different shapes.   This snowman is made from 3 different sizes of circles mounted on scalloped circles.

By putting the brads in place before mounting the circle onto the scalloped circle, you can pull

the snowman into the view below without seeing the brad that holds them together.

Pocket Mug Card

I am always looking for a little "thank you" or "hostess gift" at this time of year.   Here is an idea.  These little Mug pocket cards hold a pouch of hot chocolate and a candy cane.

Card Making Class Card

These are three cards that I taught in a card-making class this month.
They were easy enough to be done be by people with no background in card-making.
It is so rewarding to make your own Christmas Cards

We saw a card like this on Pinterest and just had to try it ourselves

Be Merry Deer

This simple stamp of a reindeer with attitude was colored with copic markers.

Frosty Days Window Card

These cards were made using the Cricut Creative Cards Cartridge.

All the pieces were cut at 5.5 inches.

The frosty window is vellum cardstock.

The green branches were made with the Martha Stewart branch punch.

The poinsettias were punched and embossed in white and red cardstock.
