This card was made at the request of my husband. He grew up on the east coast of Canada and loves lighthouses. I was getting ready to make some valentines cards and he suggested this stamp set. The coloring on the image is done with water color pencils.
I got the template for the braided technique on youtube from Brandy's cards. The template is lined up with the folded edge of the card and you cut along the lines.
When you have all the lines cut, the card is opened up and the triangle pieces are folded down.
The first triangle is cut off. Keep that triangle piece to use later.
As each piece is folded down it is tucked in behind the triangle below it.
That piece that was cut off at the beginning is then attached with adhesive to the top of the card and tucked under the upper triangle.
It really is easy to do but certainly gives that WOW factor.
